Pet Rescue and Adoption
Adopting a new companion is a truly wonderful thing, for both you and your new friend. But please remember that such adoptions are for life. There are many deserving animals awaiting their "forever" homes. Below are just a few of the hard-working organizations dedicated to finding these forever homes for abandoned, neglected, abused, stray, elderly, and special needs animals. When you're ready to open your heart and home to a new family member, please consider contacting a rescue organization or your local shelter, and give a homeless animal a second chance at happiness.
If you're not quite ready to make the forever commitment, there are plenty of ways you can help out:
*Foster animals 'til they find their forever family;
*Donate much-needed supplies, like food, toys, bedding, blankets, food bowls, leashes, carriers, etc.;
*Make a financial donation;
*Post a group's fliers or distribute their educational materials at work, church, fairs or flea markets - use your imagination! |
