SERVICES
Pet Sitting:
Care for pets of all types when you're away from home. Each
visit includes feeding, fresh water, treats as permitted, walks for dogs, litterbox cleaning for cats, cage or tank maintenance for exotics, and playtime and lots of love and affection for everyone. Mail and newspapers will be brought in, inside and outside lights rotated for security, window coverings adjusted and plants watered.
Mid-day Dog Walks: (Why? click here)
Your dog's daily play, exercise, and fun date! For 20, 30, or 45 minutes - or more, as you choose - your dog will head outside and explore. Time for a potty break, of course, and then it's off to sniff, investigate, play, burn off some energy, and most of all, have fun! Afterward, it's time for a cool-down, fresh water, and treats as permitted. A written visit report will be left so you'll be up to speed on your pup's day when you walk in the door.
Emergency/Working Late Visits:
Go to catch the VRE home and find out there's a two-hour delay? Having one of "those" days where there's no way in Hades that you'll be leaving on time? Or luck into tickets to something you've been dying to see, with no time to race home and tend to the little ones? No worries - when you can't be there, Katiebear's can! We'll go visit with your pets, walk, feed, and just generally spoil 'em rotten - and we'll be sure to tell 'em that you'll be home soon. (Note: This service is available only for clients with keys on file.)
Overnight Pet Care:
Prefer the additional peace of mind and extra attention of overnight care?
Schedule overnight pet sitting visits, and our sitter will stay in your home while you're away. Overnight stays begin with an evening visit, then a "slumber party" where your pet gets the undivided attention of the sitter through the following morning - and somebody warm to snuggle with! The visit wraps up with a morning walk or playtime and breakfast/treats, as instructed. If additional visits are needed during the daytime hours,
regular pet sitting rates apply.
*Please note: This is a very popular service and availability is
limited, so please reserve your overnight visits early so that you (and your pet) won't be disappointed. Cancellations for overnight visits are made in accordance with the holiday pet sitting policy (see Getting Started for details).
Pet Taxi
Transportation to and from all his various appointments - to the
vet, to the groomer, or anywhere else he needs to go. Paw-holding
included. :)
Personal Shopper
Why schlep if you don't have to schlep? That's what I always say!
Pets need lots of supplies, and nothing's worse than dragging in
after a long day only to realize, by the beseeching look in those big brown eyes, that you're out of - you name it. So, whatever it
may be - dog food, cat food, cat litter, shampoo, a prescription
refill, insulin syringes for a diabetic pet, must-have treats or
chewies, or anything else their little heart desires - we're here
for you. For a one-time shopping spree or for a standing weekly or
biweekly order so you never have to worry about - or run out of -
any of the essentials, Katiebear's Personal Shopper is your answer.
(Katiebear's has even been known to pick up a few human goodies on
the list - so long as we're out shopping for the hairy types and all
- groceries, dry cleaning, even - gasp - post office runs. Anything
that gives you more time with the animals is right up Katiebear's
